Frequently asked questions
Can a Turkish (non-EU) company bid in EU public tenders?
Often yes, but not guaranteed. The EU grants secured access only to countries covered by the WTO Government Procurement Agreement (GPA) or a bilateral agreement; Türkiye is a GPA observer, not a party. Under the European Commission's 2019 guidance, buyers may admit or exclude bidders from non-covered countries – always check the notice.
And if I cannot bid?
Selling materials to, or subcontracting for, the winning contractor is a private business relationship; public-procurement access rules do not apply to it. That is why we show winning companies and the items inside awarded tenders.
Can a Turkish company bid in World Bank-financed tenders?
Yes. The World Bank Procurement Regulations (para. 3.20, Sept. 2025) let eligible firms from all countries bid for Bank-financed contracts; exceptions (country exclusions, sanctioned firms etc.) and qualification criteria are in the bidding document. Regulations (PDF).
Where does the data come from and how fresh is it?
From official, publicly available tender and contract-award notices of public buyers and international institutions, refreshed daily. Every record links to the official notice and carries the required licence attribution; the official notice prevails.
What is free?
All tender and award notices, search and filters, Turkish automatic summaries, winner and buyer profiles and the sample breakdowns. RFQ details, Turkish supplier lists and Excel/CSV export are in the paid plans.
Does the 10-day trial need a card?
No. It ends automatically; nothing is charged. During the pilot paid plans run in Stripe test mode – no real charge.
Why no Turkish (EKAP) tenders?
There is no official open-data API, and ilan.gov.tr content may not be reused commercially without Basın İlân Kurumu permission. We link to the official sources instead: Turkish tenders.
