Methodology, sources & data freshness

Where the data comes from

Only official, publicly available tender and contract-award notices published by public buyers, governments and international financing institutions under open-data licences. Every record shows its official notice link and the licence attribution the publisher requires. Licence texts: Data licences.

How we process it

  1. Collect: notices are fetched daily from official open-data interfaces; the official notice link is kept on every page.
  2. Classify: procurement codes and keyword rules map each notice to 15 categories and 13 product groups. A notice can be in more than one group.
  3. Duplicates: the same tender published in more than one place is shown once.
  4. Open / awarded: a tender counts as “open” if its deadline is today or later at build time, or if the notice gives no deadline (check the notice).
  5. Values: shown only where the buyer published one; EUR conversion is approximate (ECB rate of 30 Oct 2026).
  6. Turkish summary: generated automatically from structured fields – not a translation of the notice text. The official notice prevails.
  7. Winner profiles: built only for names that are clearly companies. Individuals and masked names never get a page.
  8. Tender breakdowns: item lists come from the public tender files linked on each page; product groups, export-fit flags and supplier types are our assessment.

Limits

Coverage is limited to the notices published in the open sources we monitor (no Turkish EKAP data). Data can contain errors of the source or of our classification. Report errors to info@nordicnorden.com – we correct or remove them promptly.
